Zumba vs. Pilates

First of all if you have not heard about zumba yet, let us break it down for you. It is a much newer fitness discipline –only has 10 years- created by Alberto Pérez (who also makes choreographies for Colombian singer Shakira) when wandering, why people can dance for hours without complain, but they do when it comes to doing abs?

An that’s’ what zumba is about, dancing, moving shaking your body to the rhythm of Latin music but at the same time performing cardiovascular exercises to create an aerobic routine that includes both fast and slow movements to sculpt the body.

It is a very fun way –if you love to dance- to put your body workout, burn calories and increase your energy. On the other hand, if you want to define and tone your muscles, nothing like our good o’l Pilates, what do you think?
