How is it practiced?

In order to perform these exercises is fundamental to keep a right body alignment and breathing control. All is meant to be done under control.

The Pilates method works especially the abdominals, the back’s base and the buttocks as support points: what is denominated as “strength center”. Strengthening these body parts we can freely realize the movements for the rest of the anatomy.

To realize the exercises special equipment is used. All the exercises are done in different positions: bent, sit-down, on the knees or laid-down. In this way, we avoid injuries or pressures over muscles and joints. These movements can also be imitated on mats.
